5. Morality

Great stress has been placed in Islaam on good moral character. Prophet Muhammad (phuh) summarized the essence of the Islamic message

In disseminating the message of Islaam, the daa‘ee must adjust himself or herself to each situation and use the most appropriate material.

It is essential that the daa‘ee be soft in conveying the message because harshness could easily discourage people from listening to the truth.

The individual who as accepted the duty of calling others to Allaah must possess certain characteristics to effectively convey the message.
